Learn More →Why Espiritu
Espiritu Jiu-Jitsu isn't a franchise or a mixed martial arts gym. It's a focused Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy built on a direct lineage from Renzo Gracie through Shawn Williams to Professor Jeremy Espiritu. That lineage matters — it means structured curriculum, proven technique, and instructors who compete at the highest levels.
Santa Paula is a community built on honest work and close-knit values — qualities that translate directly to the mat. BJJ rewards patience, attention to detail, and showing up consistently, and Professor Espiritu's structured classes reflect that. Youth programs build genuine confidence in kids who thrive when given clear expectations and encouraging coaches. Evening and weekend classes make the schedule work for families and workers whose days start before sunrise.
