Common Questions

Frequently Asked

What age group is the teen BJJ program for?

Our teen program is designed for students ages 11 through 16. Classes are structured to challenge teenagers both physically and mentally while building real self-defense skills.

Will my teenager get hurt doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?

BJJ is one of the safest martial arts because it uses leverage and technique rather than striking. There are no punches or kicks. Our experienced coaches closely supervise all training to ensure a safe environment.

Does BJJ help teenagers deal with bullying?

Yes. BJJ builds genuine confidence and teaches teens how to control a situation without violence. Students learn to defend themselves calmly and effectively, which naturally deters bullying. The discipline and self-assurance they gain carries into every area of their life.

How often should my teen train BJJ?

We recommend 2-3 classes per week for consistent progress. Regular training helps teens develop discipline, build friendships, and see meaningful improvement in their technique and fitness.
